LAX - I'm here for how long?

Thankfully only a couple of hours.

So I made it to LA! This flight was much nicer in part because I slept
a lot and I actually fit in the seat. Here's a picture from the plane
of the sunset.

Likely my last post till I make it to New Zealand. I leave here at
1130 ET.

Hi all. I'm sitting in Dallas and for who knows what reason the
terminal - where I'm sitting - keeps shaking. Weird.

Anyways, the flight here was filled with screaming babies everywhere.
I'm about to hop on the plane and head to LAX.

I heard the best thing you can do when you arrive in LA is get back to
the security check in line and hop on a plane out of there! Ha!

Look Up, Its time

The time has finally come! Ive been waiting for this for over a year and tomorrow I will be on my way to Antarctica. I leave from Cleveland at 12:50 and 2 days later I will arrive in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Next chance I get I will try to put an updated schedule of what we will be doing. It will likely change daily but once I get to Antarctica I should be able to post something

Plane tickets are in!

I officially leave November 29th. I fly Cleveland-> Dallas-> LA-> Auckland-> Christchurch.

After a couple of days there I will fly to McMurdo, spend a few days there. Then fly to South Pole and eventually on to AGAP-S.

Return date has not been set yet but should be around 3rd week in January -- after traveling through New Zealand and Fiji :)

Now... all I have to do is finish the semester -- do 5 weeks of work in 12 days
2 exams, 1 final exam, 2 labs, 1 lab final, AGU poster, finish up research.... sweet

will get to vote.
